cha-cha

Yes, cha cha cha!! Dont ask me how this happened to me. But wait, do you know what happened? Before i get to me story, pa, i am not calling any chacha!! Hehe

vivian n terence have been dancing salsa for years now. On my birthday last yr, they told us they know salsa and we, being ourseleves said, ya right, whatever. But then as the night came to an end, they danced and we were stumped!

After that night, our company trip happened and these two ppl started giving leassons right there, in Bintan next to the pool! Some of us got involved and actually had fun.

Since then, terence asked us repeatedly to go to , and finally one day we did! To me it was a (culture) shock, everyone dancing perfectly well doing similar dance moves. there was a rythm in the air and it surely wasnt like a normal night club where ppl are doing what they want!

Gradually we started visiting Union often and before we knew estrella had already started her salsa classes! I didnt join her then cause mum was coming over for a month and that would mean not seeing her for 2 working days every week (i still went on wednesdays!).

Then one fine day we hear vivian and terence have joined cuban salsa! We continued going to to practice. All this while i was only learning from the rest and terence doing his funny dance moves on me. Damn, i didnt know and still dont know what exactly do i do on that floor.

So then the next development happened. Vivian learnt that there is something called street cha-cha that is taught in Attitude. Vivian n terence decided they are joining. Estrella, after a lot of thinking and me telling her she is gonna get all confused between cha-cha and salsa, she didnt join. All this while they were also compelling me to join them. I was confused; the shell, ppl, dance and i never went for a class before! Terence did help me with the basics, but i wasnt sure.

Then friday, last friday – 5th June, the day the classes would begin, arrived! They still tried to convience me to join the class till the very last moment and i was still not sure. Then work got a little messy – and i think this is what made me get up and go! I went with terence n vivian and actually joined them.

So end of the story, i am now learning cha-cha-cha.
This is no easy!

So cool, your side of the story so different from mine, even though we went through the same events that lead up to us learning dancing! Hahahaha.
